Jenn and Alain have a household that rivals the funniest/goofiest sitcom there is. It’s loving chaos with a healthy dose of toddler giggles and squeals, sneaky kisses and puppy breath.
I’ve known Jenn for years and years and she hasn’t changed one bit. She’s still the most down to earth, hilarious woman ever. And it’s been said over and over again throughout my blogging and social media posts, but I cannot believe this is my job. That people pick me and let me hang out with them and their families, capturing those funnysweetloving half seconds that will mean the world to them.
Take a look - bet you can’t stop yourself from smiling! :)
As I sit here and type up this post, I’m as red as a boiled lobster. It’s +34 with the humidity and I’m wishing it would let up. But only just a little bit ‘cause if we wind up back where this photo shoot went down….I might cry.
This was undoubtedly the coldest day of the year. So cold that Jesse dubbed it “minus fuckity-fuck” outside. Yes, that is a technical term. Meteorologists use it when your eyelids stop blinking and the breath in your lungs become icebergs immediately after exiting your mouth and nose. So cold that poor Paisley couldn’t walk more than a few feet at a time and needed to be carried and snuggled. So cold that our wind burned faces sort of resembled my current lobster status.
Needless to say we didn’t have it in us to last an entire sessions length. It was a mini at most but they were rockstars about it. Even with sniffles, icicle eyelashes and snow up to their knees they managed to look like friggin’ models. <—- the norm for them, btw.
As always, here’s a handful from that day in the North Pole. And I am definitely looking forward to making up the session in the same field this summer, minus the frostbite.
